KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad, taking strict note on the issue of non-issuance of admission cards (examination slips) to matric students, has ordered the authorities concerned to look into the matter.
Following his notice, the tenth examinations, due to be held from March 24, have been suspended for two days and have been rescheduled from March 27 here in Karachi .
Talking to Geo news, federal minister for Port and Shipping Babar Khan Ghauri said Governor has taken strict notice of delay in issuance of admit cards and assured students that all will be admitted to examination halls after receiving their admit cars.
Schools, which have failed or shown negligence in handing over admission slips to students on time will be booked to justice, he said.
According to source, Karachi Matric Board cancelled papers for two days on the directions of Governor Ebad.
Meanwhile, new days of the suspended papers will be announced later, Chairman Karachi Matric Board said. Geo News
